Work on a computer without mouse is not impossible but it is difficult as you need to know almost all the function of every key and shortcuts. Microsoft Windows operating system provides you a facility, which name MouseKeys. Which lets you control the mouse pointer by using the numeric keypad on your keyboard. But how can you did it. Following the steps....

Pressing the left ALT, left SHIFT and NUM LOCK keys will open a window named MouseKeys. From where if you select the ok button, it will turn on MouseKeys. Then you can use numeric keypad of your keyboard (1-9) to move mouse pointer every where in the monitor screen.

You can customize the MouseKeys options by clicking Settings button which will open a window named Accessibility Options. Selecting the Settings button will open a window name Settings for MouseKeys. From that window select the options according to your choice and press the ok button. I tested it Windows XP Pro Service pack2
